Some limitations are pertinent for the interpretation of the results from the present study, and should be borne in mind.
Owing to potential deleterious consequences of shortcomings in the communication of critical information pertinent for the interpretation of results and clinical decision-making, some laboratories provide the ordering clinician with a clinical requisition form specific for the disease, which must be filled, signed and joined to the sample.
