The factors identified included: ● similarities in mission between IAVI and Pfizer; ● the expertise, experience, and perspective of Fellows; ● openness; ● focus on organizational learning; and ● trust-building or motivation.
Although a contentual perspective to participation, dimensions of openness does not contradict with the procedural perspectives to participation, but rather provides a backdrop for their effective application.

Fourth, don't open for the sake of openness.
The public school system's language program represents a level of openness and awareness that, from China's perspective, other American cities simply don't exhibit.
Openness, considered e.g. in terms of a) scope of participation, b) access to information, c) scope of contribution, d) timing of openness, and e) impact of contribution, provides a new perspective to the relationships between participation, assessment and policy making.
Figure 5 shows the four dimensions of OLC: (a) managerial commitment, (b) system perspective, (c) openness and experimentation and (d) transfer and integration.
Despite the nature of OLC dimensions, the regression does not show system perspective (olcSp), openness and experimentation (olcOe), and transfer and integration (olcTi) as significant.
However, the contrasts of the formality of the cathedral's planting with the wild stillness of the shimmering trees, the long perspectives and peaceful openness of the site, are constants, lessening the usual anxieties of making large-scale work.
