The measurement of arterial PPG pulse is an effective method to monitor and evaluate the peripheral artery properties.
Our study confirms clinical observations: cfPWV is a good indicator of aortic stiffness, muscular PWV (crPWV and faPWV) are poorly related to cfPWV, and the baPWV foot-to-foot index is influenced by both central and peripheral arterial properties.
Carvedilol has the advantage that it might have some peripheral vasodilating properties, although it is not known if these persist long term (Kubo et al 2001), which might reduce the potential for worsening of claudicant symptoms.
Therefore, the incomplete inhibitory effects of ACA on the NF-κB pathway as shown in this study is ideal, since a complete shutdown will result in the loss of peripheral immunogenic properties linked to immunodeficiency symptoms, which will subsequently make ACA a non-viable drug candidate.

It is found that the two-phase flow characteristic mainly depends on the peripheral layer's properties.
In conclusion, this is the first study to describe the peripheral microvascular vasoactive properties of kisspeptins.
