It is easy to show that the variance of n-th order differentiation has the periodicity with period k Δ x.
In the first sequence, the latent profile periodicity with period of the 4 bp has been recognized and in the second one, with period of the 11 bp.
Spectrum of Z-statistics obtained from the MMsat for this sequence is shown in the Figure 2. Based on the maximal peak in Z-statistics spectrum, a conclusion was done about existing in the sequence latent periodicity with period of 54 bp and with unknown structure.
However, depending on the trace, the periodicity with the period of 24 h can also be hidden.
On the other hand, during odd cycles, we find a somewhat longer periodicity with a period varying from 1.5-1.7 1.5-1.7 years
There are other traces in the database for which the eighth harmonic is dominant, being several times bigger than the other harmonics and proving the periodicity with the period of 24 h of the traffic.
Previously, several studies have reported that the inter-pulse interval exhibits periodicity, with a period of approximately 55 seconds (or 0.0182 Hz) in D. melanogaster [ 9, 21- 23].
Statistical reconstruction (Fig. 7с) corresponding to the pattern size of 291 bp reconstitutes the spectrum of deviation from homogeneity (Fig. 7b), which verifies latent profile periodicity with this period.
Three local areas of latent profile periodicity with a period of 27 bp (Figs 9a c and 10) can be distinguished in the coding region of the cya gene of bacterium B. pertussis.
HeteroGenome can be searched for certain information on latent periodicity (with a given period length, periodicity region size, character preservation level pl for pattern copies and so on), as described in the following sections, at the first (nonredundant) level only, or at the first and second levels together.
We show that the amplitudes of the 27-day variations of galactic cosmic ray (GCR) intensity, solar wind and solar activity parameters have a periodicity with duration of three to four Carrington rotation periods (3 4 CRP).
