Perfusion of solutions was controlled by the RootChip 16 control valves (Grossmann et al., 2011, 2012) connected to a valve controller controlled by a LabView (National Instruments) program.
The temperature ramp experiments were carried out with ONIX microfluidic perfusion system equipped with a micro-incubator temperature controller CellASIC), using Y04C microfluidic plates (CellASIC).
