When a Friday sneak-traveller has his perfect plans foiled by the airlines, we might be tempted to empathize, but we can also be forgiven a moment of dark delight.
While we may try to draw up perfect plans or adhere to those devised by others, some malign fate or social agency or human flaw will interpose itself to dismay us.
So, how did my perfect plans work out, you ask?
Our "perfect" plans suddenly go up in smoke and we're forced to come up with new solutions.
This earthly existence keeps derailing the "for sure's", keeps throwing curve balls our way, keeps nixing our perfect plans and visions, and instead nudges, forces, coaxes, calls, yells, whispers and pushes us to: let it go.
For example, you could experience certain circumstances such as getting a new job, the birth of a child, the breakdown of a relationship, health complications, regulatory changes, economic and industry volatility or simply making a miscalculation, all of which could throw you off your perfect plans.
