Thus, PCA effectively reduces the multi-dimensional experimental data to its main components and, thus, improves the human perception of the data.
This data, among other data sets covered in the supporting information, will serve us to demonstrate how the metabolic contextualization dramatically increases the resolution of our perception of the data.
The qualitative analyses will incorporate the following processes [ 50, 51]: 1) Invite participants to review the transcripts of interviews, and summarize their perception of the data, for accuracy, and check for the trustworthiness of the data; 2) Conduct a thematic analysis using a reciprocal coding approach where researchers engage in open dialogue about themes and data interpretation.
In order to monitor and limit subjectivity, two members of the research supervision team will examine parts of the transcripts to compare their perceptions of the interview data and analysis with the researcher's interpretation.
