Since subjects were not able to see their right hand during the experiment, we measured any change in perception of location of the right thumb by asking the subjects to try to point the right thumb tip with the left index finger while their eyes were closed, before and after each session.

At the next scale (( sigma_{c} = 20 )), there is no grouping visible of the tiles and mortar cues, although the appearance of tiles as wedge shape provides a cue to support the near-horizontally diverging and converging perception of the location of the mortar lines, even without the appearance of them in the DoG output at coarse scales.
This visual tool allows perception of the location and strength of the vortices in the right atrium.
Earlier studies have suggested that activations of the premotor and parietal cortices are associated with multisensory perception of spatial location of a stationary limb (Graziano 1999; Graziano et al. 2000; Ehrsson et al. 2004).
Perception of sound location and movement typically demands precise integration of dynamic acoustic cues including inter-aural time and intensity differences and monaural pinna reflections (Blauert, 1997; Heller and Richards, 2010); such processing may be particularly vulnerable in Alzheimer's disease.
Whisker deflections (Simons, 1978; Bruno and Sakmann, 2006; Jadhav et al., 2009) or active touch (Crochet and Petersen, 2006; Curtis and Kleinfeld, 2009; O'Connor et al., 2010b; O'Connor et al., 2013) trigger temporally sharp responses in barrel cortex neurons, which underlie the perception of object location (Diamond et al., 2008; O'Connor et al., 2013).
This study aimed at identifying possible correlations between teachers' voice symptoms and their perception of noise, the location of schools, as well as the location and conditions of their classrooms.
While in these studies subjective confidence was not measured explicitly, in most of these studies it is reported informally that subjects have a very vivid perception of the illusory location.
In a strong version (O'Callaghan 2002) it may be held that no theory of sounds "should make the fact of location perception a wholesale illusion" (p. 5); hence, as sounds are represented as located, it would follow that they are correctly so represented.
Within GRW, the superposition of two states which, when considered individually, are assumed to lead to different and definite perceptions of macroscopic locations, are dynamically forbidden.
Even when the TMS pulses completely eliminated the conscious perception of the target, unconscious location detection was possible.
