Quality improvement evaluations need to move beyond provider performance to encompass outcomes such as client perceptions, adherence, and service utilization.
The search will be conducted without date limits up to July 2014, using explosions and combinations of key search terms including, for example, qualitative research, back pain, guidelines, clinical practice, quality assurance, decision rules, clinical reasoning, behaviour, attitudes, perceptions, adherence, compliance, barriers.
