The term "peculiar video" is correct and usable in written English
It is an idiomatic expression that means either an interesting or strange video. For example: I saw a peculiar video on YouTube yesterday and it was absolutely surreal.
Notorious electronic music prankster Aphex Twin makes playfully critical commentary on the United States presidential election in a peculiar new video released today.
Then there's the peculiar FACT visioning video (all bandage-coloured digi-architecture and smiley teenagers in slo-mo).
