The peak dimensions of the SSS beamformer with non-diagonal noise covariance matrix are shown in Fig. 3c, d.

Direct comparison of peak dimensions of conventional and SSS beamformers with diagonalized and non-diagonal noise covariance matrices is shown in Fig. 3a for dual state t beamformer and a = 5 cm.
HIFU exposures of 5 s duration at 1.7 MHz were provided by a 1.7 MHz single element MR-compatible transducer (H148MR, 64 mm diameter with 20 mm central aperture, 63 mm focal length, Sonic Concepts, Washington, USA) with 6 dB focal peak dimensions of 9.9 × 1.2 mm.
The etch process transferred a two-dimensional pattern into the sapphire substrate with a peak-to-peak dimension of approximately 250 nm.
Assuming that the main peak dimension reflected the length of LipC, the result would indicate that the majority of LipC molecules could exist as individually dispersed molecules, with a small proportion of them present in the form of small aggregates.
The peak volume was obtained by multiplying this count by voxel volume, and the peak dimension was approximated as a cube root of the peak volume.
The peak dimensions are smaller than those of the conventional beamformer in Fig. 3b, and the peak dimension increases with increasing expansion order, as also shown by dashed line in Fig. 3a.
(Side note: I had no idea any of these people were in this movie and am extremely shook!) Lame title aside, this is peak Dimension Films and brought me back to the 90s in the best way.
However, despite an increase in peak dimensions, the majority of peaks still displayed similar properties to the mock-hybridized region, as observed in cumulative frequency plots for peak height (Figure 5E) and diameter (Figure 5F).
