For comparison a spectrum of Pd isotopes of 30 nm thick Pd layer deposited by vacuum evaporation on Si substrate is shown in Fig. 6.
The binding energies are similar with those for Pd metals [41], demonstrating that the few-layer MoS2 is covered by the metal Pd layer and no obvious substitution of Mo atoms with the Pd doping happens.
