To do so, following a pattern of reviews in similar disciplines, we begin with an examination of effect sizes of the relationships under investigation.
Importantly, the application of a phylogenetic approach to discern between convergence and parallelism alleviates some of the operational difficulties of separating these two concepts, thereby allowing a meaningful, quantitative way of assessing repeated evolutionary patterns (for reviews of this highly contested issue see: [ 11- 13]).
Although some form of peer review occurs at all radiotherapy centres in Ontario, the current patterns of peer-review activities, the intended expansions of peer review and the perceived barriers and facilitators of peer-review activities vary substantially, and in no centre was peer review performed on all cases.
In the interests of developing a programme to optimise the use of peer review in the province, we undertook this research to describe current patterns of peer review in RO practices across Ontario and to identify existing barriers and potential facilitators to its expanded and optimal use.
The research consisted of a cross-sectional analysis of patterns of peer review in 14 radiotherapy programmes within a provincial cancer system.
Two isoforms of the human oestrogen receptor (ER) occur, ERα and ERβ, each with distinct tissue and cell patterns of expression (reviewed in [ 15]).
Our review focuses specifically on frontal and temporal lobe findings given that prior MRI studies have primarily compared and contrasted these two regions in SPD and schizophrenia, generally highlighting similar temporal lobe abnormalities in both disorders but different frontal lobe patterns of results (reviewed by Dickey et al. [ 10] and Siever and Davis [ 5]).
So far the old-fashioned pattern of good reviews and professional inquiries seems to be working for Mr. Daniels.
When residential targets were presumed to be used by loyalist forces, civilians were sometimes present — suggesting holes in NATO's "pattern of life" reviews and other forms of vetting.
Conclusions were based on patterns of results across reviews.
