We processed the traces left by 40,000 Flickr users in the US (about 18 million pictures) in order to obtain mobility flow matrices which represent human flows between pairs of geographical nodes, looking for the collective mobility patterns of two types of human activities at different resolution scales: air travel and daily commuting.
