The XRD pattern of the nanofibers stirred for 1 h showed XRD peaks of birnessite, corresponding to the JCPDS file 87-1497.
Electrospinning of photopatternable polymers allows for direct patterning of the nanofibers using UV lithography of the nanofibers.
XRD studies (Fig. 2) showed changes in the diffraction patterns of the nanofibers with increasing stirring time.
Figure 2 shows the XRD pattern of the Co3O4 nanofibers grown on the Ni mesh.
Figure 2b is the X-ray diffraction pattern of the LiMn2O4 nanofibers calcined at different temperatures.

Figure 4 shows the patterns of the ZnO nanofibers calcinated at different temperatures (from 350 to 500 °C) and the pattern of the Pt-ZnO nanofibers calcinated at the optimized temperature of 500 °C.
The XRD pattern of the optimized PVDF nanofibers (sample S14) is shown in Fig. 7, where the peaks at 18° (0 2 0) and 20° (2 0 0) correspond to α-phase and stand for the β-phase crystalline structure, respectively, as indicated in Fig. 7 (Mahato et al. 2015).
Here a new (compared to 2D electrodes) phenomenon is demonstrated: the formation of the CO coverage pattern along the nanofiber length.
