Based on our analyses of the structures of A+T-rich regions and gene arrangement patterns, inversion of the A+T-rich region is the only character state unique to these 10 species.
A new data structure called pattern-inversion tree is proposed to store related information so that only one scan of database is required.
Chromosomal inversions are increasingly being recognized as important in adaptive shifts and are expected to influence patterns of genetic variation, but few studies have examined genetic patterns in inversion polymorphisms across and within populations.
It is obvious that oil water flow patterns, phase inversion prediction and pressure drop have played a great role in the design and running of oil water flow systems.

To clarify the evolutionary history of the inversion pattern found in the two Wolbachia strains at the wMel#2 locus, we mapped the distribution of ISWpi1 insertion and inversion patterns onto a phylogeny of Wolbachia strains (Fig. 2).
Nonetheless, they also primarily show the typical symmetrical inversion pattern around the replication origin.
