The main difficulty in using such irregular (potentially chaotic) activity patterns for parameter estimation is the problem of proper alignment, which is aggravated by the nature of spikes in neuronal data.
However, the pattern for four parameters is different.
It is interesting that we found significant intercorrelations at baseline between several parameters of pattern A, whereas for parameters of pattern B, the only significant correlations were found between adiponectin and CRP, adiponectin and HDL-C, and CRP and HDL-C (Supplementary Table 1).
An empirical study demonstrates this pattern for particular parameter values.
Although the estimator β exhibited a similar pattern in the above-mentioned species, at microsatellites with tri-nucleotide repeats as shown in Table 4, they somewhat had a reverse pattern for the parameter α; that is, O. sativa possessed a larger estimated value α than O. rufipogon.
Patterns for genetic parameters within first lactation, however, require further confirmation and investigation.
Herd-specific patterns for blood parameters and BCS were analysed by linear mixed models as applied in the MIXED procedure of SAS SASS version 9.1, SAS Institute, Cary, NC., USA).
Thus a broad and more balanced taxon sampling appears to be a mandatory goal to investigate and identify general patterns for the parameters considered above.
Based on our theoretical formulation of PCA, we prove the existence of an asymptotic pattern of the PC plot when the population sizes become large, and derive the formula for numerically calculating this asymptotic pattern for given population parameters.
