Mortality was lowest among those with diabetes receiving accelerated t-PA, which is consistent with the results of the overall patient cohort.
Thus, Opi1 has greater affinity for deprotonated PA at higher pH, which is consistent with the electrostatic/hydrogen-bond switch model.
However, we did not find any intermediate PA-OO...HOO that existed at singlet state, which is consistent with the previous study.
Looking at patterns in PA, we did not observe any interactions by gender, which is consistent with results from previous studies that used objective measures of PA [ 42, 44], with the exception of Verbestel et al. [ 10].
These results suggest that the expression of genes involved in PA biosynthesis might be affected by ethanol treatment, which is consistent with the findings of Ikegami et al. [ 14].
