Eight instruments were included: Impact on Participation and Autonomy, Keele Assessment of Participation, Participation Survey/Mobility, Participation Measure-Post Acute Care, Participation Objective Participation Subjective, Participation Scale (P-Scale), Rating of Perceived Participation and World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule II (WHODAS II).
A second study at the policy level will focus on trends in private sector participation (objective ii) in each of the programs over time.
Lessons Learned: Participation: The CCRC objectives did not specifically outline child participation among its objectives, and this may be regarded as a major unintended results achieved.
It is important that decision-makers and other stakeholders determine (preferably through public participation process) the objectives which they wish to pursue.
Furthermore, to reach social robustness in a context of uncertainty and multiple values and objectives, participation of relevant social actors is required.
It is encouraging to see that the above strategic directions are consistent with the guiding principles (life cycle approach, cross sectoral action, equity and participation) and the objectives proposed by the WHO/EURO strategy for child and adolescent health and development approved by all member states in 2005 [ 32], and in particular with the first priority area: maternal and newborn health.
In previous longitudinal studies, team climate manifested as clarity of and commitment to objectives, participation, task orientation, and support for innovation have been linked to several positive outcomes at work, such as low sickness absence rates among physicians [ 16], and high levels of innovation in top management teams [ 17, 18].
