Within the first postoperative year, 6 cases of partial (grade II) and 9 cases of complete (grade III) humeral head necrosis were found (8 times after 3-segment fracture, 5 times after 4-segment fracture, and twice after 2-segment fracture), but no joint replacement was necessary in any patient.
The slight increase in the last year of the study period was attributed to a slight increase in the rate of partial grade of misplacement (MCP1) whereas the rate of total medial cortical perforation (MCP2) continued to decrease. 1 patient reported a postoperative neurological deficit related to the right-sided T8 T10-dermatome.
Meniscus lesions were classified regarding to the extent of resection which was needed (grade 0: intact meniscus, grade 1: partial meniscectomy, grade 2: subtotal meniscectomy, and grade 3: total meniscectomy).
Moreover, changes in Ktrans and Ve were significantly different between non-responders (grade C+D), partial responders (grade B) and complete responders (grade A) as seen figure 1 (Kruskal-Wallis test, P = 0.04 and P < 0.01 respectively).
Similar to other ligament injuries, injuries to the AITFL are graded based on stretch (grade1), partial tear (grade 2), or complete rupture (grade 3) [ 11].
For comparison with imaging five groups of patients were defined according to the response grade: complete responder group (grade A), partial responder group (grade B), responder group (A+B), non-responder group (grade C+D), and non-complete responders (grades B+C+D).
The blood flow in the culprit vessel was graded according to the TIMI flow grade before and after PPCI: grade 0, no reperfusion; grade 1, low reperfusion; grade 2, partial reperfusion; and grade 3, regular perfusion [ 26].
Each SIJ was scored on radiographs according to the mNY criteria [ 26] as follows: grade 0: normal; grade 1: suspicious; grade 2: minimal abnormality with small localized erosions, sclerosis without joint space alteration; grade 3: definite abnormality with erosion, sclerosis, and joint space widening or narrowing or partial ankylosis; grade 4: total ankylosis of joint.
If the patient had a partial or graded sick leave over a certain period of time, we converted this to the equivalent number of whole days on sick leave.
