As pairwise distance between couples' sequences increased, the Bayesian posterior probability of linkage decreased rapidly, with the majority of couples' pairwise distances associated with posterior probabilities approaching 1 (100% probability of linkage) or 0 (0% probability of linkage) (Figure 4).
The heatmap of pairwise similarities associated with the hierarchical complete linkage clustering of accessions based on the similarity (1− R D) matrix (heatmap.2 function in gplots R package [ 30]) revealed genetic relationships among accessions of the collection.
