The summit agreed to step up sanctions on Russia because of its actions on Ukraine, but came under pressure from Washington to get tougher still as the White House unveiled a more draconian package of penalties against Moscow, targeting Russian banks, oil and gas companies.
The penalty package of over £800,000 reflects these failures.
"Camelot's failures in this case are serious and the penalty package reflects this," she said.
"The commission has now concluded a wide range of cases over the last 10 months leading to around £3.75million in penalty packages.
In response the Gambling Commission told us: "We know from family members we have met that the impact from situations like this are devastating and far reaching". They said they will continue to hold the industry to account to tackle gambling related harm, and that in the last financial year operators paid £18m in penalty packages because they failed to follow their rules.
