Such variability in drug-metabolizing activities could be partly owing to genetic divergence in CYP2C43, as genetic polymorphisms are evident in macaque P450s [24], [24], similar to human P450s.
Three Abpa and three Abpbg subfamily members are evident in the metatherian Monodelphis genome sequence although many of these, owing to their divergence, were unable to be predicted in their entireties.
