The phrase "outward condition" is correct and commonly used in written English.
It refers to the observable state or appearance of something. Example: Despite her outward condition of being calm and collected, the stress could be seen in her furrowed brow and tense shoulders.
Compared with the 90°-less constrained (unseen outward) condition, longer angular disparity in the 270°-less constrained (unseen outward) condition resulted in significantly less multisensory integration.
In the 270°-less constrained (unseen outward) condition, the absolute angular disparity is 90°.
Therefore, although the absolute angular disparity was 90° in the 270°-less constrained (unseen outward) condition, it was likely perceived as 270° as an effect of biomechanical constraints.
