Returning to the meridional reflections, our analysis mandates the forbidden first-order, out-of-plane reflection to be at q z = 0.17 Å–1, corresponding to a characteristic d-spacing of 36.4 Å, which is much larger than the out-of-plane d-spacing of BT-ID, BT-T-ID, and BT-T3-ID, or those of any other isoindigo-containing molecular or polymeric semiconductor reported previously.
An HMRC spokesman called the report "an inaccurate, out-of-date reflection of our phone performance" though he acknowledged service levels were not acceptable last year and said HMRC had apologised at the time.
Although the out-of-band reflection between the central and right edge channel is decreased, it still reaches 95%.

The increase of the channel spacing, λ s + Δλs, results in a decrease of the channel spacing between the central channel and the right edge channel, λ s2,3 = λ s − Δλ s, lowering the out-of-band reflection between them.

Further increases in Δn up to the limiting case of Δn = 0.11, will result in a rapidly growing difference between channel spacings, λs 12/λs 23 of up to 2.7 with a decrease of the out-of-band reflection between the central and left-edge channel to 90% (Figure 4b, blue dashed dotted line).
Wide-range XRD scans along the out-of-plane reflections revealed that single phase SFO has been formed without any secondary phase.
Lighting is by far the most important factor when photographing glass, since the wrong setup can create out-of-control reflections or washed out blurs.
