Nearly 40% of our learners are actively commenting.
"In all it's affecting about 3,000 of our learners," says Walsh. "There's widespread consternation".
"Going to the cinema is simply not an option for many of our learners," she said.
Our learners study a range of GCSEs and choose to specialise in either engineering, health and social care or business.
"This helps to shape vocational and professional skills, all of which makes our learners much more attractive to employers," says Walsh.
"It's almost, if you're going to start teaching our learners about growing up, puberty and sexuality, then it will encourage inappropriate behaviour.
As a socially responsible school, we have for some time been sharing dynamic digital resources, created by our teachers for our learners, with the world.
But we must ask ourselves: What cost do we pay for not truly reforming our education system to equip our learners for these modern times?
However, in making this choice we are leaving the way open for other models of education that better meet the needs of working students, who are now the majority of our learners".
Our curriculum team constantly reviews and revises the diet of our learners to make sure that every student is in the correct pathway to maximise achievement, whether this be a traditional academic or more vocational route.
"What we know from research we have done into our employed learners, who make up around half of our learners, is that they value the flexibility of distance learning.
