Firstly, our results demonstrate that using SITS it is possible to prime cell-free systems of different origins with the same template.
Nevertheless, trait variation largely followed phylogenetic boundaries as defined by haplotype structure and geographic origin: strains with the same haplotype or the same geographic origin were significantly (Student t-test, P < E−34) more similar than other strains.
