Requirements analysis usually starts with a mission statement or orienting goals, then becomes more elaborate through studies and meetings with prospective clients.
These orienting goals of the analysis were to highlight concerns and expectations before the students arrived and then to explore the lived experience and any unexpected effects after the placements commenced.
