The third component comprises qualitative studies aimed at understanding how prevention methods are chosen, accessed and used, with emphasis on ARV-based prevention methods, through the inter-relationships of three dimensions: clinic organisation; perceptions and practices of healthcare professionals; and motivations and perceptions of people who are more exposed to HIV.
