Neuroticism was measured with the Five Factor Personality Inventory (FFPI; Hendriks et al. 1999) which is a self-report questionnaire for measuring the five super ordinate factors of temperament.
We also performed an additional analysis in which we regrouped the 9 categories into 3 super-ordinate factors of Vitality (Power, Joy, and Wonder), Sublimity (Peacefulness, Tenderness, Transcendence, Nostalgia, and Sadness), and Unease (Tension), each regrouping emotions with partly correlated ratings.
MTORC1, responsible for co-ordinating growth factor dependent growth and proliferation, is turned on in response to various upstream signals such as growth factors and nutrients (summarised in Figure 1) and is inhibited by the naturally occurring macrolide rapamycin [ 9].
TFBS co-ordinates and transcription factor targets were retrieved from the literature [ 18, 19]. Figure 5(A) shows the nucleosome occupancy, Htz1, Pol II, H3K4me2 and H3K79m3 profiles in both the unstressed and the stressed conditions.

Additional set-averaging of the log-difference, <Δ>set, reduces the scatter width of the data points along the ordinate roughly by the factor of ~ √Nset ~ 3 (see the yellow dots in Figure 5).
The results indicate that a properly chosen hybrid discrete ordinates method can be more efficient than a standard discrete ordinates method by a factor of between 2 and 8 when IDC timestepping methods are used.
