The company, a specialist in traffic optimization, says that we have now reached a tipping point of sorts: half of all connections made to its network are currently running at 4Mbps or higher — a sign that "universal broadband" is finally starting to become not just an ideal, but a reality.
Though early reports state that it's unclear how these search suggestions are being generated by Apple, MobileDevHQ CEO Ian Sefferman, whose firm specializes in a new type of SEO that focuses solely on getting found in app stores (aka, "ASO," or "app store optimization") says the suggestions appear to be a combination of both popular searches and keywords, with a weight towards the former.
"It causes cherry-picking that undermines optimization," Dr. Gentry said.
"More and more companies today understand the link between environmental focus – climate and energy – and financial optimization," she said.
"The real world has wrecked their optimization plans," said Matthew Daimler, the founder of SeatGuru, a Web site that helps passengers find the best seats on a particular plane.
