Although both pgr7 and Ler had an optimal value of the maximum quantum yield of PSII (Fv/Fm) (Table 1) [10], the ΦPSII values in pgr7 were significantly (P<0.05) lower than in wild type in the light (Figure 3A), reflecting a reduced rate of electron transport through PSII in pgr7.
