Ongoing post-operative losses, e.g., nasogastric drainage following abdominal surgery, will be replaced ml for ml with Ringer's lactate solution.

None of our patients experienced post-operative loss of reduction when comparing immediate post-operative and latest follow-up radiographs.

In the present study, PD was associated with a longer duration of operation, increased operative blood loss and longer postoperative hospital stay.
