Brown et al [ 10] used the AOA criteria and a grading of 0 to 5. Mean pre-operative grades were 4.4 and 4.5 for comparator and experimental groups respectively, increasing to 4.6 to 4.7 post-operatively.
Thus, DCE MRI can be used to estimate neovascular permeability and for pre-operative grading of glioma.
