It defines eight component sections (selection bias, allocation bias, confounders, blinding, data collection methods, withdrawals and dropouts, analysis and intervention integrity) mentioning important issues that must be taken into account (see operationalization, Table II).
The operationalizations can now take place at the group level and are therefore more precise.
In our work, the set-up was the same for all risk factors: both types of influence (operationalization) were evaluated; the spatial influence was taken as the third quartile of distances to the closest point; and the size of the grid was 100 by 100, which is the approximate distance of a block in Bogota.
For instance, it should be noted that CSR initiatives taken by firms, which is the primary operationalization of CSR performance in most databases, in itself does not mean that firms are actually reducing their actual negative impacts on society.
Additionally, we found no effects (direct or indirect) between help-seeking behavior and our operationalization of mindset, even though seeking help from others is taken to be evidence of a resilient mindset (Yeager and Dweck 2012).
A crucial stage in the development process is the testing and evaluation of the set for usability and feasibility (eg work load) in practice; before it can be taken up on a nationwide scale the set needs operationalization and validation in palliative practice.
Other operationalizations include the cumulative number of keystrokes or mouse clicks, variation in computers use between days or weeks, and distribution of usage periods (i.e. number of breaks taken within a certain time period).
In order to demonstrate the operationalization of our approach, and in an attempt to reframe these findings using the concepts of our framework, we will adduce some findings taken from the main author's thesis [ 52].
Components, operationalization and methods of the process evaluation are summarized in Table 2.> The economic evaluation will be performed from a societal perspective, which implies that all relevant medical and non-medical costs and effects are taken into account [ 25].
Similar operationalizations have been used elsewhere [ 9, 19].
