However, since data on such variables is not available at sub-national level, we focus on one measurable and relevant aspect of institutions from the point of view of our study: the provision of public goods and its coverage.
All patients must be > 18 years of age, have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks, and have locally advanced or metastatic DTC (papillary, follicular, Hürthle cell, or poorly differentiated carcinoma) with at least one measurable lesion as measured by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and disease progression within 14 months.
Eligibility criteria were: proven metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma by histological or cytological biopsy, at least one measurable metastasis ≥10 mm on CT or MRI or ≥20 mm with a conventional scan.
