These three different classifiers focus on discriminating vessel types, vessel IMO numbers (classifying individual vessels on IMO training set), and both vessel types and IMO numbers (jointly classifying type and IMO numbers of vessels on IMO training set), respectively.
In order to test the effect of LSH, simulation studies are conducted using the SSA-K-means-SVR, SSA-SOM-SVR and SSA-LSH-SVR monels on the Elia data set, respectively, where the K-means and SOM (Self Organizing Maps) algorithms are employed to select the similar segments.
