I am so tired of people saying we are picking on a certain group of people.
It's built into [the process but] they have become tick-box exercises instead of looking meaningfully at what it means to say that a certain policy change will impact disproportionally or adversely on a certain group of people.
So what criterion determines when a policy with disproportionately worse effects on a certain group actually counts as indirect discrimination?
