The word 'ombudsman' is correct and usable in written English
It is a noun used to describe an official who is appointed by a company, organisation, or government to investigate and address complaints from the general public. For example, you could say: "The company appointed an ombudsman to investigate complaints from customers who did not receive the services they purchased."
