A 400-year-old botany book contains what could be the only known portrait of Shakespeare made in his lifetime, according to an academic expert.
Curator Anne Garner organized the exhibition after noticing that the library's rare books collection included centuries-old texts on botany, medicine, zoology and even magic that were as fantastical as the subjects studied by Harry and his pals at Hogwarts.

Described as a place of beauty meant to "connect people and plants," the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park is an 138-year-old architectural masterpiece frequented by botany students, San Francisco residents, and garden-loving tourists.
"Rich, famous, brainy, powerful and feared," with a casual expertise in ornithology, botany, poetry, astronomy and old English etymology, he has forgotten how ordinary humanity looks and sounds.

The garden's replication is due in no small part to the hard work of exhibit creators and coordinators Adriana Zavala, Mia D'Avanza, and Joanna L. Groarke, who spent over a year meticulously researching both botany and design, pouring over old images and Kahlo's correspondence, and traveling to Casa Azul.
The surprise best seller in England is a book on botany by an 88 yr.-old clergyman, the Reverend William Keble Martin, called "The Concise British Flora in Colour," published by The Ebury Press and Michael Joseph for 35 shillings.
