A newly released Pew Research Center report finds that, while most Gen X- and baby boomer-aged Americans identify with their generation's label, just 40percentt of those ages 18-34 think of themselves as millennials.
It has gone from 58percentt of those ages 45 to 54, to 66percentt of those ages 35 to 44 and 72percentt of those ages 25 to 34.
Among older children, 6percentt of those ages 5 to 11 and 33percentt of those ages 12 to 14 regularly cared for themselves.
At each of those ages, the babies were exposed to briefly stressful challenges.
Now, more than one-third of those ages 18 to 22 are religiously unaffiliated.
But nearly a quarter of those ages 45 to 64 said they had, a significant jump.
The percentage of those ages 55 to 64 rose, too, from 11 to 17 percent.
About 6 in 10 of those ages 30 to 49 have a family member who served.
Based on the agency's 1999-2000 data, 15percentt of those ages 6 to 19 -- almost 9 million -- are overweight.
In the poll, 48percentt of those ages 18 to 34 said "disapprove" while 44percentt said they "approve".
More revealingly, the polls find a clear majority of those ages 18 to 29 in favor of same-sex marriage.
