Mean density of the trabecular region (Fig. 3C) showed strong correlation with BV/TV (Fig. 3B), whereas the mean density of trabeculae stayed constant in both groups from all four different mice (Fig. 3D), indicating the bone loss was due to structural destruction of trabeculae.
