Education, place of residence, and Asset Index were not significantly associated with successful smoking cessation.
There was an independent and significant association between utilization of health services and membership of the scheme even after adjusting for education level, place of residence, and asset ownership, and even with the evidence of selection bias at both the design stage and in the membership.
