In an article for the Guardian earlier this year, Peter Scott surmised that universities are always going to be "more different and individual" than the identity they share with their mission group, and this is one of my main concerns with group alignment.
But because this one part of my identity wasn't in alignment with church doctrine, the rest of me was seen as unfit too.
And my 'negative' emotions are telling me that something is out of whack and out of alignment with my core nature, which knows that life is interaction, an exchange, a shared conversation.

So, my interest was a combination of mission alignment between ELI and GlobalMindED, the potential for economic development in our State, and alignment with my own passion.
