Some suppression of medium-order modes and strong suppression of lower-order modes is observed.
In Fig. 5(c) for Δl = 3, the power is mostly coupled into higher-order modes with stronger suppression of medium-order modes and lower-order modes compared to Fig. 5(a) and (b), producing a narrow pulse width and a lower BER value of 4.86 × 10−9.
