However, a systematic topology analysis reveals the absence of congruence between these PVs and their host phylogenies, without a single example of identical tree topologies for both PVs and hosts (Chan et al. 1997; Antonsson and Hansson 2002; Gottschling, Bravo et al. 2011; Gottschling, Göker et al. 2011).
