We identified three characteristics of a decisionmaking context that need to be defined.
The EVIDEM framework is proposed as a step beyond the current cost-effectiveness model, combining efficient HTA, pragmatic MCDA, and an ethical framework to ensure systematic consideration of all components of decisionmaking and evidence available, and to provide a transparent record of how these elements have been used to reach a decision.
