Housewives, daily laborers and farmers collectively accounted for more than three-fifths (20.1%, 21.7% and 20.2%, respectively) of all the occupations of the study participants.
Entitled "After Saddam: Postwar Planning and the Occupation of Iraq," the study covers events through June 2004.
In the study by Korsak et al, 22 the specific occupation of the population in the study was not stated; however, the participants had experienced occupational OPs exposure.
The distribution of occupation of the parent cohort study participants was 53% homemakers, 10% farmers or agriculture labors, 18% small business, 10% workers in textile or dyes, and 10% unemployed.
Agriculture is the main occupation of the people in the study area.
