Since the LA test was performed only on one occasion before the samples were de-identified, these patients do not fulfill Sydney criteria for APS diagnosis [ 28]. aHUS patients (n = 103) from the Jena registry [ 22] were recruited based on the initial clinical diagnosis aHUS.
