As such, the obtained value for this model (0.081) is marginally acceptable.
The total amount of NH3 released was found to be 2.71 g which was in good agreement with the theoretically obtained value for 45% of glycerol conversion.
For each field size, measurement was carried out for five fibre segments of the 42 µm core size fibre, the results being normalized for all field sizes using the obtained value for 10 × 10 cm2 field size (Fig. 1).
The obtained value for the working range position shift is equal to 0.024 RIU at ϕ = 0 and is in good agreement (for this simplified formula) with the above experimental result.
As shown in Fig. 1b, the obtained value for α is 1210 mg−1 ml1 ml and this value is definitely in the range with the previous reported α for surfactant-based graphene [22].
The curvature friction coefficient can then be evaluated from Eq. (1) by applying two prestressing forces on a curved Smart Strand within a curved sheath with the wobble friction coefficient maintained as the previously obtained value for the straight sheath of the same diameter.
